The library will be showing some of your favorite movies on the library’s big screen. Bring a friend, a pillow and your favorite snack and climb on board the “Movie Matinee Special.” Join us for an adventure of the FUN kind!!! No registration is required. We will be showing movies for a wide range of ages. Stop by the library to find out which movie will be shown.

"Camping With The Critters"

Camping with the Critters will be held at Wildwood Zoo on Saturday, July 31st. Check-in is at 2pm. Bring your tent and camp inside the zoo! There will be live music, a campfire, storyteller, fishing, minnow races, and much more. Bring your own dinner to cook over an open fire (evening snacks will be provided), but breakfast on August 1st is included! Children under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present. No alcoholic beverages allowed. To pre-register, call the Marshfield Parks & Recreation office at 384-4642 ext. 0, email parkrec@ci.marshfield.wi.us, or send your name, address, phone number, number of campers, and $8.00 per person to Wildwood Zoological Society, PO Box 523, Marshfield, WI 54449. Don’t miss the next Wild Wednesdays program at Wildwood Zoo on Wednesday, August 4th. Come to the education pavilion (next to the cougar exhibit) to see Birds of a Feather - Exotic Birds. Join Dino from Nature’s Niche for this incredible program featuring tropical birds. Presentations will be held at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This program is being sponsored by Columbus Catholic Schools, M&I Bank, and the Wildwood Zoological Society. A concession stand will be open during the event. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome! Wednesday, August 4, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
The reading hours are in and the ending fun begins at the Marshfield Public Library Water Carnival. There will be water games, sprinklers, slip n slides, water balloons, and all things wet and wild!! If you make your reading goal of 11,500 hours the Director will be joining the celebration by being your water balloons target. How wet will she get? Be sure to wear bathing suits or old clothes because you will be getting wet too.

The meal will consist of a roasted steer w/ baby red potatoes & all the fixins!There will be live music provided by school groups & local musicians who have volunteered to add to the merriment of the occasion.
